The demand for flight attendants
The air line industry of India has experienced a boom like never before and is currently one of the quickest growing industries of India. The airline industry of India is turning out to be one of the biggest employers in this country, as a result of the new airlines making forays now and then.
As these new airlines open their shops they are in constant need of ground crew and flight attendants who make a bulk of the support crew who work in this industry. Onboard, there are two types of crew. One is the flight crew and the other is the flight attendant crew. The first type consists of the pilot and the copilot and the people who are involved in flying the air plane, and the other part consists of the flight attendants who take care of the passengers and cater to their various needs throughout the flight. There is a constant demand for flight worthy cabin crew in most of the airlines, and all this results in air hostess poaching among the rival airlines.
In order to cater to the growing demand for trained and skilled employees who will don the flight attendant uniforms, numerous training institutes have opened up that train young people in this field. Most of these institutes prepare the candidates for the basic flight attendant interview and develops the qualities to face the challenges that cabin crew often face while on flights. Overall this career is most certainly meant for young and adventurous people who like to sail the skies and see the whole world, and want a taste of the good life at the same time.
